I met Kristyn about a month postpartum. I was scheduled for a c-section on August 21st for my little breech baby but he decided to surprise us early, with my water breaking on August 11th! So c-section around 11pm that night and baby boy took a trip straight to the NICU for a few days. This happened on a weekend when the lactation staff was short at the hospital where I delivered, so I didn’t get a lot of one-on-one help with hand expressing and pumping. I got off to a rocky start with my breastfeeding journey that I had such high hopes for throughout my pregnancy.

I heard about Kristyn through a friend and I decided to reach out. I was a few weeks postpartum and feeling a little hopeless. I felt like I wanted someone to tell me whether or not I should throw in the towel or keep trying. I also loved the fact that Kristyn did home visits!

When Kristyn walked through my door, it was like I’d known her forever. She is so easy going, down to earth, and sweet! She really makes you feel comfortable instantly! My first meeting with her really gave me so much hope and motivation to keep going. She even prayed with me at the end of our first visit and that was so special to me.

My biggest regret is not booking a prenatal with her! I wish I could rewind time and do that for sure. I have no doubt she would’ve had me prepared for my rocky start with my little early NICU baby.

I highly recommend her to all mamas looking to breastfeed! Even the ones who are on the fence about it. She’s the best!
